What Have We Done To Deserve The Paris Hilton Denim Collection?

I’m beginning to feel like I’m going through the four stages of grief when it comes to Paris Hilton. I started with Shock, moved into Denial, became really Angry when I found out that she was going to not only invade my media outlets but my department stores, and now?  I thought I had moved to Acceptance…until I saw this.

Yes, ladies, as if we haven’t had enough of the Paris blitzkrieg, we now have the opportunity to purchase the Paris Hilton Denim Collection. As if books, perfume, videos (ahem), and a new television show weren’t enough, you can ensure that Paris has your back(side) in her jeans collection. Feast your eyes on some highlights from the collection: the Full-Length Skinny Jean with Zipper ($78), the Gold Pocket Skinny Jean ($78), and the Twisted Seam Jean ($88). All a little less than $100, available through Dollhouse.com, and…insulting my intelligence.

Do we really need to purchase a pair of jeans that have contrast stitching around the largest part of most women’s bodies, the tush and thighs? Who comes up with this stuff? Oh, that's right.. Paris Hilton does.

If this collection truly becomes a hot seller, then I will be shocked, and the process starts all over again. Even then, I’ll take my money and put it towards therapy, not these jeans.
