What’s In My Bag: SheFindsBrynT Needs To Buy More Stuff
I'm not one to pack a lot on the go, but that doesn't stop me from touting a huge, slouchy hobo from Kenneth Cole ($128, was $228). This results in what my friend calls the Soap Opera Effect – named after the daytime drama queens who carry these huge designer handbags on camera with nothing in them. What's wrong with that?
I keep Prescriptives' Camouflage Cream ($17.50) with me at all times to touch up any coverage I might have inadvertently rubbed off my face. This stuff is fantastic as both an under-eye concealer and blemish cover-up as it is lightweight and blends easily into the skin. Estee Lauder's Golden Alligator Compact ($33) is so vintage and glamorous, I whip it out in public every chance I get. And the transparent powder gives the right amount of light matte coverage to any skin tone. Call me old school, but my hands-down favorite kind of lipstick remains Chanel in Marilyn ($27). It's a hot pinkish red that's good for both day and night. And since I tend to wear darker colors, it livens up my whole ensemble.

I carry around an umbrella at all times – and of course leave them everywhere. My Marimekko Kivet ($39) was a gift, and so far my favorite umbrella, so I hope I can keep it firmly in my possession.
And that's it. I don't own a wallet (something I probably should invest in) and except for the occasional extra pair of shoes, scarf, or Diet Coke, my enormous slouchy bag remains flat as a pancake.
