What’s In My Bag – SheFindsRebekah Goes Minimalist For Evening
![]()
My standard Friday night bag is pared-down and easily searchable: it’s my back’s rare break from lugging a laptop around, and I have to be able to identify everything by touch in a dark bar. This Peitro Alessandro convertible bag ($85) is well-suited to my nighttime needs, since you can carry it in your hand or fold it over and tuck it under your arm as a clutch.
As for the contents, my trusty Tusk wallet ($65) and a black hair elastic ($3 for 28) are givens. For a going-out bag, I add my favorite slim black mirror – a necessity for checking teeth on the way out from dinner. Sephora’s latest version ($6) looks even tinier.
The final elements: My favorite un-sticky lip gloss of the moment from philosophy – this one’s a Valentine’s day edition (that I, um, got for myself), but for fall I’ll probably switch to a deeper color like the company’s cherry cola flavor ($12). The Trident White ($11 for 12 packs) is mostly because Manhattan bars are so loud that you have to close-talk. And because I like red wine.
