Your Bluetooth Has Less Of A Chance Of Giving You Cancer Than Your Cell Phone
With all of this cell phone pish posh about cancer and radioactive emission rays, it's easy to be confused — I know I am. Even though we can't remember what it was like not to have one, cell phones have only been produced in mass for about 20 years. So really, what do we know about their effects on our brains after continual use?
Well, here at SheFinds we'd like to encourage our readers to reduce the potential dangers of cell phone radiation from their lives in any way possible – we'd really like you to be around for our launch of GrandmaFinds (lol). We agree with Dr. Ronald B. Herberman, director of the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute, that "we shouldn't wait for a definitive study to come out, but err on the side of being safe rather than sorry later." So according to the Dr., we should take advantage of the "speakerphone mode or a wireless Bluetooth headset".
In comes the Jawbone. The chicest earwear to hit the market recently is a headset comparable to fine jewelry or designer sunglasses — and this elegant ear piece is equipped with a technology they call Noise Assassin. Get yours in black, silver, or rose gold for $129.99.
Not a fan of the Jawbone? Platronics makes a number of various colorful Bluetooth ear pieces. Our fave is the Purple Discovery 925.
And for more information on this serious subject read "How Cell Phone Radiation Works".
