Boden + British Moms Teach Us A Thing Or Two About Fashion

According to The Daily Mail, the cult item of the moment (amongst middle class British moms that is) is anything by the colorful, cheerful brand, Boden.

From the retro-patterned coats to a bright printed blouse, the brand’s definitely won us over.  We can see why so many are addicted (even Michelle Obama is rumored to have requested a catalog). We also dig their photo campaign – the models are set in “real” life rather than in a creepy white space. Although, this chick above looks like she got so excited about her spotty scoop neck that she messed up her friend’s card trick – a problem so many of us face in our daily lives.

True, these British models may be having a little too much fun, but we’d find it hard not to smile in this pretty floral dress with gathered sleeves or a pair of bejeweled Boden flats.

After you take the plunge and go colorful, take a hint from the Brits and pick up a colorful sheath dress or pencil skirt.
