Caged boots hit the YSL runway this past fall and as Telegraph UK recently reported, we can expect to see this design influencing many spring shoe collections. A sexier take on the popular gladiator style, caged shoes are not for the faint of heart. We actually like this trend and think the caged look could definitely work with some skinny jeans, but keep the rest of your outfit simple to avoid looking like you just stepped off Madonna's Sticky & Sweet Tour bus.
These KORS Michael Kors Patent Heels ($99, were $325) are a softer (and saner) take on the trend. Wear over black tights for the remainder of winter, and then pair with a floaty dress come spring.
