If you can buy the real thing, great! Now imagine your kid would like one and you know they are going to loose it, why not get a knockoff? I love the Van Cleef Alhambra Clover leaf necklaces but cannot pay their prices. I heard that there are some jewelry stores out there that are selling a very good replica, very similar but not exactly the same. These pieces are 18k gold are real mother of pearl. Does any on have any idea as to which jewelers these might be.

The Van Cleef Clover necklace is soooo gorgeous but alas way out of my price range too. I have found a similar flower design style from a website called Joots.co.uk. Its 14k gold and the flowers are made from real mother of pearl. I recently bought it in the sale and thought it was a bargain, esp as it’s nice and long. Take a look:

I LOVE the Van Cleef and Arpels Alhambra collection. Are there any really good online vendors out there? I especially like the gold and mother of pearl clover necklace. I’ve looked at Eve’s Addiction (which I found from this post!) but they’re flowers, not clovers. If anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate it!

Best place to find amazing replicas of the VCA Alhambra collection is, believe it or not, from the street vendors in Soho, N.Y. There are the “Cheap Looking” copies but if you’re willing to pay a little more, you’ll find amazing replicas. I can’t bring enough pieces back, they all disappear, friends and family can’t get over how close they are to the real thing. I own a few pieces myself…going back to NY next week and will bring more.
