What: CoverGirl Mascaras $4.99 – $8.29

Why: I love a good deal. And I love CoverGirl mascaras. That’s not just because I grew up in the years when Christie Brinkley was their model, although it probably helped a little. It’s really because they have fantastic products — at an affordable price– that do just what I need: Their waterproof mascara stays on during sweaty workouts but washes off easily with eye make up remover, the volume exact pumps up my skinny lashes without clumping them all together and none of the formulas flake off in black chunks that get under my contacts. So ask yourself the next time you go to buy a department store mascara… are you getting what you pay for?
