Even Carla Bruni Wears Stella McCartney For GapKids

Well, if it’s good enough for France’s First Lady, it’s good enough for us.  Carla Bruni-Sarkozy wore Stella McCartney’s GapKids bandleader jacket on French television, while performing with Harry Connick, Jr.  Sadly, the jacket seems to be long gone from GapKids’ stores themselves, so we’ll have to content ourselves with McCartney’s kids duds on which we already received a full tutorial.

Of course, we’re also flat-out fans of the bandleader look.  Get BB Dakota’s lombard jacket or the Edith coat from Dolce Vita – both merge the marching band and military looks to full effect (without looking like a costume).
