Fashion Math: Is A Chanel Chain Strap Bag An Investment?

When you think of the things just about every woman wishes to own someday, Chanel item ranks high on the list. Aside from a nail polish or a bottle of perfume, it’s near impossible to find something with the chic double C logo that doesn’t have a four-digit price tag.

This quilted suede bag is no exception. At $988, it’s a pricey purse, and the price isn’t for everyone. But we wondered what would be the price, spread out among years of use?  It’s totally worth it in our dreams–we wanted to see if we could make it worth it in reality.
