Forget The Macy’s Thanksgiving Balloons – Giant Bras Are Our New Favorite Oversized Item

Just for fun, we wanted to bring you a photo of new work from two Japanese artists/designers, Yoshikazu Yamagata and Kentaro Tamai.  The sculptures are titled “A Long Story” and consist, more or less, of an enormous bra/undies set hanging from a random tree:

The designers’ experimental merger of fashion and art, called writtenafterwards, is a medium through which they approach fashion as “a communication tool.”  In the case of the giant underwear, what do you think they’re trying to communicate?  Leave any thoughts in the comments.
