With the great prices on well known brands starting under $5 and designer brands priced well under their suggested retail price I would start with a little Smashbox (eye palettes), some Pop Beauty (lips), China Glaze and Clarins (nail polish), and hopefully have a little left over for an Yves Saint Laurent eyeshadow palette. I am loving makeup kits this summer! They’re full of powders, highlighters, eyeshawdows and gloss – so easy to toss a good kit in your bag and be set for a trip or a day on the beach!
I would buy Pop Beauty Palette in “Naturally Popette”, JOEY New York Palette in “SoBe Sunkissed”, and Pop Beauty Limited-Edition “Hello Gorgeous” Kit.
I’d also hold out a bit until more Smashbox Mystery bags come in too – they are always well worth the purchase!

Next up would be the Smashbox 5 Piece Platinum Surge Kit…for only 28.99 I’d get a soft lights blush/bronzer, an eyeshadow quad, 2 lipglosses, AND a makeup bag. Can’t go wrong with that!

And what about the cult favorite China Glaze “For Audrey” nail polish for only 3.99!? It’s a pretty decent dupe for MAC’s now discontinued “Peppermint Patti”

My next pick? Pop Beauty’s “Hello Gorgeous” kit. There’s at least 20 different eyeshadows, a bunch of glosses, blush, and bronzer!

After all this, I’d still have 13.04 left to spend…so I think I’m going to go with the Smashbox Eyeshadow Quad in “Electric” (12.99)
