I am looking forward to “winterizing” some of my summer looks, since trying to be more conservative about spending money. I have plenty of silk sleeveless dresses I wore during the summer, but will throw on a long sleeve black cotton top,under the dress, put a cardi on over that, belt it and, with my recent purchase, hot electric 4″ suede shooties, and some tights, I’m ready to go.

I’m really excited to wear a couple of things I got on sale at the end of last winter. A pair of suede and sweater material brown riding boots and some grey argyle tights. Haven’t quite figured out how to wear the tights yet though.

At 50 years old I have to be careful what I wear. I don’t want to look old (I don’t feel old)- but I don’t want to look like I am old trying to look young. I love that leggings are back- but I don’t feel right wearing them at my age. I am going to stick to the classics- crisp white cotton shirts, cardigans, sweaters jeans and awesome boots. Some silver jewelry to dress it up and I will be feeling appropriate.
