My grandaughter spilled nail polish on my carpet and shaving cream took it out. Also, lemon juice and ice cubes will clean your garbage disposal and leave it smelling nice.

I have found Dawn detergent to be a great stain remover on clothing. It takes out stubborn greasy stains, blood and almost everything else.

I use paper coffee filters to wipe clean windows, mirrors and TV screens along with my favorite cleaning product. The filters do not leave lint or streaks and are less messy than wiping with newspapers.

I think soap and water is best for alot of messes. I know what as always helped for me too is to clean as you go. Don’t wait till later to clean it cause sometimes you will never get back to it.

I use rubbing alcohol swabs to clean the remote controls, telephones and light switches. They are the perfect size for those small jobs.

Always clean as you are cooking…keeping your work area sanitary and easy to clean up when dinner is done.
Also, Magic Erasers are great for cleaning anything white…my white laptop, white tennis shoes, white appliances.

When you’re wiping off counters or the stovetop and you come across something hard and dried-on, just leave your damp sponge or cloth on it, get another cloth to clean the rest of the counters, and by the time you go back, the stuff under the cloth is soft enough to just wipe right off.

When doing spring cleaning I use a small room or part of a room and pile up all the things I don’t know what to do with! Then when I’m ready I slowly sort things out to throw away, donate, or place in other rooms of the house. This way the rest of the time the rest of the house still looks good!
