While in New Jersey for Thanksgiving, I decided to brave the nearby mall in search of some good sales, the food court with Dippin Dots ice cream, and perhaps a cheesy store or two. And I sure found one in Guess. I admit I used to wear Guess back in middle school, but not since then have I been able to find something decent that doesn't bear the unmistakable gold G or cursive logo. However, this time around, their shoe selection was rather impressive, and unbranded (for the most part).
These Darleigh ankle boots ($140) in neutral beige are simple but not boring. They'll go with almost any color palette as well.
These burgundy and red peep-toes ($115) immediately reminded me of a glam YSL platform shoe. At a much, much lower price.
Demure and coquettish, these Rosette slingbacks ($110) look out of place in the Guess store - which is not an insult.
