Pull-Up Socks: Chicer Than A Schoolgirl

People StyleWatch and Pink Chocolate Break have both reported on the ingenious things celebs are doing with knee high socks these days… but we want to push it a bit further.

Usually relegated to the realm of slutty schoolgirl Halloween costumes, with the help of up-and-coming style icons like Rihanna, Taylor Swift, and Victoria Beckham, knee high, and even thigh high, socks are on the forefront of our fashion psyche. Wear them with a mini dress and pumps or sticking out of your favorite boots.  But whatever you do, leave the pleated skirt at home–you’re not on Gossip Girl.

For the more traditional of you, we suggest J.Crew’s stretchy nylon socks in gray or  these semi-sheer stockings from awesome hosiery brand, Falke; both are super comfortable and look cute with heels or boots.
