Jacksons Honor Michael Wearing Versace. Filed Under Things That Are…Important?
A million thanks go out to InStyle for this clutch piece of news: Versace outfitted the Jackson family for Michael’s memorial service today.

However, before everyone raises their pitchforks in outrage at this seemingly ridiculous and showy display for a funeral, let it be known that Janet Jackson personally requested the clothing from Donatella in order to recognize her late brother’s appreciation for the designs of the equally late Gianni Versace.
If, however, Versace isn’t providing you with clothing for the next memorial service you need to attend in Los Angeles (or the equivalent warm-weather locale), we recommend a simple, conservative, lightweight black dress like this one from Donna Morgan ($98).
But let’s just hope funeral clothes are vacant from anyone’s near future. (We feel obliged to say this, as not to appear too morbid or insensitive.)
And find your perfect summer dress in our latest guide.
