What: John Frieda Root Awakening Health Boosting Detangling Spray, $6.50

Why:  The more styling stuff I pile on, the more my fine hair gets weighed down.  For that reason, I’m always on the lookout for do-it-all hair products. I mist this detangling spray on damp hair, blow dry, and the result is subtly volumized, amazingly silky and healthy-feeling hair. 

As a bonus, the eucalyptus-peppermint smell is unreal.  (And I’m hard to impress in that department.)
