Esquire named Kate Beckinsale the Sexiest Woman Alive this year.  I love that titles like that include the word “alive.”  As if you’d get confused.  Anyway, Kate Beckinsale was not competing against dead women for this honor, though if she was, she’d have a leg up on them, since besides being sexy she’s also quite fashionable.
