Luxury handbag and shoe designer, Carlos Falchi, is certainly getting around.

Just weeks after the debut of his fabulous Chi by Carlos Falchi collection for HSN, Target has released a line of low-priced satchels, hobos, and shoulder bags by the imaginative Italian.

Falchi may be promiscuous (on the collab front, that is) but he’s also one of many very smart designers who are finding ways to offer affordable luxury in the recession. Once you go faux, you may never go back.
