1. WWD takes a look at a number of designers just before Fashion Week kicks off.  We’re impressed with how cool and collected Carolina Herrera (left) looks – makes us want to pick up a sleek new pleated skirt.  [WWD]

2. Yoko Ono is collaborating with New York label Threeasfour, allowing them to use a number of her prints on a clothing line. The clothes are a little wacky, though not as uniquely wacky as celebrities sporting decorative designer animal ears. [The Cut]

3. Appropriately enough, Forbes named Anna Wintour the most powerful fashion editor out there.  Give The September Issue a viewing and you’ll surely agree.  [Forbes]

4. GOOP, beware – Tyra Banks just launched an online fashion and beauty publication, Tyra: Beauty Inside & Out.  We’re rather wary of the model-turned-media maven’s fashion advice, so we’ll stick with our own this fall. [StyleCaster]
