News: Fashion Industry Goes Fictional, Gorillas Push The Bikini Wax, And More

1. The CW’s new show, The Beautiful Life, will begin shooting on July 31st despite star Mischa Barton’s recent hospitalization. The show focuses on a gaggle of fictional international models, and while we can’t wait for it to air, we’ll be keeping up with the other side of the fashion industry.  [WWD]

3. Bravo will debut a new reality show focusing on the fashion industry, Launch My Line, on September 16th, featuring both real designers and hopefuls plucked from other aspects of the industry.  We’re interested to see just how fashion-forward these lines end up being.  [Racked]
