3. Spearheaded by Vogue Italia editor Franca Sozzani, a panel and fashion “spectacle” in Italy approached and discussed ethically created, sustainable clothing. While we won’t be wearing the clothing in Italy, we’re happy to don eco-friendly duds. [NYT]
4. In a time when fast fashion seemed to be the only retail business going strong, it was surprising to hear that H & M’s August earnings were actually worse than expected. Maybe there are too many good, inexpensive designer collaborations to compete with. [FT]
