Newsflash: Comme des Garcons Is Working Eight Days A Week

Rei Kawakubo, the designer of the esoteric label Comme des Garçons, is also busy working on a side project, a new collaboration that’ll probably be hard not to love.  She’s teaming up with Apple Corps Ltd. (which manages the Beatles’ legacy) to create various Beatles bags, reports WWD.  The bags will launch sometime in November and might be followed by t-shirts.

We’re not sure whether to expect psychadelic prints or pictures of John, Paul, Ringo, and George, but we’re sure Kawakubo’s totes will be much more exciting than typical concert merch.  While we wait for the launch, we’ll keep ourselves satisfied and vaguely Beatles-esque with this elaborately trippy Zimmermann Lace Cut Out tote and with the aptly named West/Feren Backstage bag.
