Why: I’ve always been averse to celebrity fashion lines. After being underwhelmed Lindsay Lohan’s ridiculous leggings, I found it hard to get excited when I heard that Nicole Richie was putting out a jewelry line. So imagine my surprise when I realized that Richie’s line is actually creative, chic, and still totally looks like something she would wear – which she does. The line has an elegant bohemian vibe – if that makes sense – and many of the pieces would look great either by themselves or layered with others.
If you like your jewelry to make a major statement, the large Tiger Eye Ring ($48) will do the trick.
My absolute favorite has to be the Gold Red Resin Earrings
($28). I feel like I can never decide if big chandelier earrings are
over yet or not, but I think the fact that these are eye-catching
without hanging so low strikes the perfect compromise.
