I agree with ShoeQueen1961, but on the other hand there were many other designers like Vera Wang for Kohl’s collection that stayed true to their profile and best quality they can offer to that price. I was disappointed that the pieces really looked poor and cheap, there are better quality pieces you can find at any fashion jewelry store for 20-60$ price range. It totally ruined my day when i run to target to see the collection:((((

I was really excited to see EB’s items, BUT the fish necklace has a chain that looks terribly cheap and the lobster necklace is garish!! I probably won’t purchase the pieces even when they go on sale! Sorry!!

Okay… I get it already. But honestly, if you want to get the full affect of an Eric Beamon piece–you’ll have to go to the big boys (Bergdorf, Barney’s, Bloomies…) While I understand it’s great to have ‘designer’ pieces at realistic prices; somehow or other a $20 bracelet–doesn’t look the same as one for ten times the amount.

The rings are fun but the necklaces can’t compare to something you can do yourself with vintage pins for a true ooak look.

I agree that there are a few “misses” in the collection, but overall I think it’s the best jewelry collab ever at Target. Yeah, Dean Harris’ was in sterling, but it bored me to tears. Beamon does costume, they created a sparkly and pretty collection, and I bought my first piece from any target collection! The domed, multi-colored rhinestone ring – it is fab!

I went to Target.com to view the collection. Not all of the pieces look cheap, I saw a ring I like. But I’ll wait until the jewelry goes on sale if I decided to get a piece.
