I was just thinking that the whole point of this holiday (and a couple of others) is to boost the economy by giving people opportunity to shop… Well, at least that’s what I did – just couldn’t miss this opportunity. And I discovered a couple of things. Stores were pretty empty, people are still recovering from the crazy Christmas shopping I guess. Sales are amazing, and surprisingly you can get a really good deal on high-quality stuff (not the usual hard-to-sell-otherwise merchandise).
