Queen B Braves The Subway… And Wears Nanette Lepore

Blair Waldorf says that no man is worth riding the subway for, but her dependence on door-to-door car service doesn’t keep her from crossing the city for the latest styles. And lucky us, last night’s episode was a practical parade of fashionable coats.

The showstopper was not evil

Georgina ’s return, but rather Blair’s fantastic Nanette Lepore coat. The teal-colored, waist-cinched Emperor’s New Coat ($263, was $525) is from the Fall ’08 collection and might be a little heavy for the spring weather, but there are plenty of other Nanette designs to choose from for spring.
