Solution: IsABelt Keeps Your Pants Up Without Adding A Spare Tire

What: IsABelt, $16.95

Why: I'm no fan of the so low you may as well not even be wearing pants scale of jeans fitting. But on the flip side, I don't want to be caught dead in the dreaded mom jeans. The fact that there's no happy medium means I usually spend tons of time wriggling to make sure the jeans I wear aren't showing off my underwear (or worse).

That's why I'm so thankful for IsABelt, a paper-thin, clear elastic belt that holds up gaping jeans without causing an unsightly buckle bulge in the front. Simply size the belt, hook it in front, and secure the hook under your pants button. It's amazing how something so delicate can hold everything together so seamlessly, and ensure that my Victoria's Secrets stay, well, secret.

I personally think this is a stupid product. Who wants a clear plastic belt? Seriously, I just buy pants that fit or wear a normal belt. I don’t get why you would want this thing on your pants.

  2. Rachel says:

It looks like one of those tacky clear, plastic bra straps: I don’t like those and I don’t like this. Neither are as “discreet” as they pretend to be.

I have one of these and love it (as do all my friends)! It’s made out of this really elastic clear plastic that almost disappears against your jeans. I love to wear those fitted tops and wearing the isabelt with my jeans removes the buldge I’d have with a regular belt. It also gets rid of that gap at the back of your pants so others don’t see your “business” when you bend over or sit. My take on it is, don’t knock it till you try it!

It’s to wear when you have a fitted shirt or what if you have a blouse on with a belt over the blouse, would you want a belt underneath also? it’s not to wear outside your jeans by itself.
