It's made out of this really elastic clear plastic that almost disappears against your jeans. I love to wear those fitted tops and wearing the isabelt with my jeans removes the buldge I'd have with a regular belt. It also gets rid of that gap at the back of your pants so others don't see your "business" when you bend over or sit. My take on it is, don't knock it till you try it!
