Some might say that my beauty routine (concealer, loose powder, shadow, liner, mascara, two kinds of face moisturizer, monthly pedicures and bimonthly waxings, a lip gloss in every handbag…) says high maintenance all the way. (Or, “I work in the beauty industry.”)
I simply say that I’ve discovered the confidence-boosting value of a well-placed highlighter and some cheek color.
