Sponsored Post: Welcome To My Week With Reebok EasyTone Sneakers

image

We’re busy (who isn’t) and we want toned legs (who doesn’t). Because Reebok’s new EasyTone sneakers are made to address precisely these concerns, we’re excited to be trying them out this week.

Reebok EasyTone shoes have balance pods built in under the heel and forefoot, which are designed to create instability with every step, increasing muscle activation* and helping to tone your legs as you walk. Seriously, just put them on and walk.

There’s a pink-and-white pair sitting right by my bed at the moment, so here’s what I’m going to do:

1. Wear them around my apartment
2. Wear them on a walk along the river, because it’s finally sunny out
3. Report back

Stay tuned, and while you’re waiting, read our editorial coverage of Reebok EasyTone Sneakers.

Can I ask where you found a pink pair? They are pictured in all of th EasyTone ads but I can’t find them in pink! I’m anxious to hear what you think of them!

  • SheFindsRebekah

Hey Dana – Reebok is sponsoring this set of posts, so they sent a pair our way. But you’re right – I couldn’t find the pink pair online either. I’ll try to find out when they come out for you.

  • SheFindsRebekah

We got in touch with Reebok, and they said that while the pink version isn’t available online right now, it is in stock at some Lady Foot Locker stores. They suggest contacting your nearest branch to find out if they have your size.

  • Dana

Great! Thanks for the information. I’ll give my local store a call. So, what do you think? Have you been wearing them? Any review of the shoe would be much appreciated! :)

    Reebok Easytone Inspire (in pink)

I found them today (5/14/09) on the Reebok website, with a ship date of 5/20/2009.

I have a pair on order–hope they are as good as I am hearing.

    HI-

I saw the ad for these sneakers on Facebook….I just love the idea. I have to find the pink ones…wish me luck.

Are there differences between the EasyTone Inspire & Go Outside other than the overall look of the shoe and the price? Everyone seems to offer the Go Outside but not the Inspire.

i bought a pair over the weekend, and have been wearing them every morning when i walk the dog, about 45 mins to an hour at a time. They are super comfy, and someow turned my slow and sleepy morning walks into automatic powerwalks…somehow i walk a lot faster and brisker in these, as if i am on a treadmill and just ready to propel forward! They also make you walk straight – no slouching in this pair. They def work the butt muscles a lot more than regular walking shoes – i can tell the diff right away. Calf muscles too, but the impact is more noticeable for the butt. So I am very satisfied- now my morning walks are psuedo workouts, and they are going to be a lot more energized and fun and healthy, not to mention doggie is more than happy to keep up at a faster pace. i def expect i will get some muscle toning out of them, but probably not enough to look like the models in the tv ad! If you don’t have or plan to have a regular walking regimen with lots of regular walking, i don’t think you will see a big diff though – the shoes are there to help you tone up, but they can’t do it all by themselves.
