The Ladies Of Sterling Cooper Motivate Us To Spice Up Our Workwear

PEGGY BLAZER

As per usual, last night’s episode of Mad Men was chock full of all the subtle personal mystery we love so much about the show and its secretive characters. Don and his company cohorts got involved with a slightly less than ethical account, while Betty’s puzzling father was killed off after only a three episode arc (oh well, we weren’t interested in his clothes anyways).

SMYTHE BLAZER

With a little help from Joan, and much to the dismay of her overbearing mother, we were glad to see Peggy make some big moves towards moving into the big city. Now a real Manhattan girl, Peg looked smart, serious and stylish in a fitted grey and white checked suit. We too love menswear-inspired patterns for fall office attire; Smythe makes an adorable school-boy blazer that’s light enough for autumn and wooly enough for winter ($525) in a cute plaid.
