An organization called Clean Clothes is pressuring major European retailers to pay their foreign workers in India and Asia a living wage - the whopping sum of $475 a month – reports WWD.
You can sign up with Clean Clothes, or take this time to buy domestic. We’re particularly charmed by this Current/Elliott jacket (made in the U.S., of course) since we can’t imagine something more home-grown than denim cut in a majorette style. We also love reasonably-priced basics from the aptly named line LA Made, like their Mali Tee Shirt dress. In fact, we think those two items would look pretty perfect this fall, layered together.
