Target announced this week that they will team up with fashion forward sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy – the brains behind Rodarte, the innovative luxury label that we love, but sadly, can’t afford.
Getting your hands on one of Rodarte’s creations would normally cost you a couple months rent, as the sister act is in the business of creating ensembles in the six grand price range. Enter Target to the rescue. The line will feature 55 original pieces all under $100.
Ok, so it’s difficult to imagine a pair of Rodarte leather thigh highs (or thigh highs of any kind) gracing the shelves of Targets in the Midwest, but the GO series is intent on exposing new customers to designers on the rise and Target spokespeople have promised that the Rodarte line, which launches in stores across the country and on target.com on Dec. 20th, does justice to the Mulleavy vision.

I have not gotten this excited about a Target designer in a while! I can’t wait to see what pieces Rodarte does for Target! Thanks for letting me know!
