Weird Trend: A Scarf That Looks Like A Bullet Proof Vest

Today we caught wind of the Necky scarf, the newest spin-off of the popular Snuggie, a blanket with sleeves.

We never understood the Snuggie trend, but it was surprisingly a big deal–last year at this time it was Amazon’s top selling item. The Necky scarf resembles a bullet-proof vest (or worse, a fleece bib) and boasts that it will keep you warm, without the gaps of regular scarves (see below). [YouTube]

So we propose something better–and certainly more stylish. Here’s our round-up of the best infinity scarves and snoods: get the same results, but look cooler:
