You Can’t Have Alexander Wang’s $850 Rocco Bag, Even If You Can Afford It

It is, frankly, a really nice bag.

Alexander Wang’s Rocco bag, a stud-bottomed, embossed-lambskin duffle, is “available” for purchase on his site today, but it’s already sold out.

If you want to know when it’s back in circulation, set a notification on Net-a-Porter, where the bag is hiding under the name “Coco Mini studded leather bag” – rest assured, though, this isn’t the light-blue leather version that’s usually called the Coco: Net-a-Porter’s description clearly states that this one is black.

Barneys already has a waiting list of over 400 for the Rocco, and Wang says the company is going to have to produce extras just to make sure there’s stock in-store.

If you want your embellished black leather duffel now, we suggest Juicy Couture’s Etiquette Tote or Tory Burch’s Military Satchel – both are about the same size as Wang’s Rocco, and will set you back less than $500.
