Zac Posen Starts Early Frenzy Over His Prom Dress For Target

Rodarte for Target hasn’t even fully debuted yet (December 20), but the fashion world is on to the next: Zac Posen for Target GO International is the newest focus, who, according to a Racked tipster, includes a convertible prom dress that can be worn in three different ways, and a tuxedo this spring, just in time for prom season. We never could have guessed 2009 would bring us the coveted prom dress. Leave it to evening wear guru Zac Posen to change all of that forever. The collection also reportedly includes lots of prints, some bathing suits, a red leather jacket and some belts.

We wonder how long it will take for Kohl’s to catch on and try to convince Vera Wang to do a Simply Vera version of wedding dresses. Any bets? Speaking of Kohl’s, according to WWD, the megastore  is upping its celeb factor, signing Britney Spears to appear in ads for Candie’s for Kohl’s, shot by photographer Annie Leibovitz. Can’t accuse the fashion industry of not switching things up.
