Beauty Roadtest: A Body Wash That’ll Make You Feel OK About Your Hot Shower

Dermatologists are constantly telling us not to take scalding-hot showers – especially during winter – but seriously. Come on. It’s cold out, and we want to take a hot shower. Our solution, for now, is Eucerin Calming Body Wash ($7.19).

You’ll need to use a bit more of this oil-based body wash than you might expect since it doesn’t lather much, but it’s those lathering ingredients that can make your skin all dry and flaky. Eucerin’s Calming Body Wash has moisturizing oils instead, almost nullifying the need to even moisturize post-shower. So it makes us feel better about disobeying the doctor’s orders.

And the subtle “unscented” scent is, well, calming and makes skin feel good. And really, what could be better than that in a beauty product?

See more beauty finds, get our reviews on beauty roadtests, and check out our guide to heavy moisturizers to take care of dry winter skin.
