Beauty Sneak Peek: H&M’s New Organic Beauty Products (We Can’t Wait To Smell Them)

Talk about one-stop shopping: soon you’ll be able to buy organic beauty products at H&M. Despite the fact that some H&M stores were caught throwing out bags of clothes instead of recycling them, H&M is going eco-friendlywith a new line of organic beauty products, including organic “fresh vanilla” lip balm, and shower gel, body scrub, hand cream and body lotion in two scents: Lavender Mint and Raspberry Melon . H&M will also debut their under $60 eco-friendly Garden Collection –see the photos here. We’re excited for the stuff: it includes lip balm, shower gel, body scrub, hand cream, and body lotion that are all available in two scents (lavender & mint;raspberry & melon).

We love the matching cosmetic bags made of organic cotton, and can’t wait to smell the mix of lavender and mint.

Before I bash H&M for jumping on the organic green washing band wagon I will wait to read their full ingredient list, providing they offer full disclosure. Please note, however that in the companies own press release they state that “the products are based on natural and organic ingredients”. That being said these products may also be loaded with parabens, sulfates, petrochemicals and phthalates.
