4 Reasons Ebay’s Makeover Makes It Even Cooler

Ebay can sometimes feel like walking into a huge department store–with so much to choose from, how do you find anything? Now they’ve revamped fashion.ebay.com to make shopping on Ebay  fun and efficient. I took the site for a spin–this is what I found:

1. Celebrity Stylists: Ebay’s “Fashion Voice” style series lets shoppers get free fashion advice from celebrity stylists who get paid thousands to dress Sarah Jessica Parker, Scarlett Johansson, Penelope Cruz, and more.  Stylist Annabel Tollman offers her advice in a short video (above) about finding out what vintage era works for your body type–turns out, I should shop for vintage from the ’50s. This gave me a good starting point to browse the tons of vintage on eBay.

2. More Like This: I sadly missed out on the Cynthia Vincent for Target wedges, but I was able to search for the hot selling shoes, click on “More Like This,” and a huge easy to navigate gallery of Cynthia Vincent wedges popped up. Most of the starting bids were  slightly over retail, but a few extra dollars might be worth skipping the designer collaboration craziness.

3. Fashion Brands: Once something is sold out on J.Crew,  you can only hope that they will sell it again next season–they usually don’t–but by using eBay’s fashion brands tool, I was able to quickly find this J. Crew blouse that I lusted over a few seasons ago without spending five hours clicking through search result pages.

4. Popular Items: Most items are beloved for a reason, that’s why we like the popular items section that lets us know what everyone else is buying or searching for. We found at least five items we would bid on in the search for the most popular Michael Kors handbags is above.
