Found: 5 Pretty Bras For Large Busts–They Do Exist
When it comes to body acceptance, Britain is running circles around the U.S.. British department store Debenhams premiered plus-size mannequins last week, and Bravissimo, a U.K. based company that specializes in plus-size lingerie, just released images from their new ad campaign that feature real women with real breasts.
Often times, the bigger the bra, the dowdier it is, but this campaign shows that pretty bras for larger cup sizes do exist, and you don’t have to go to Britain to get them. Here are five bras that look good and will give you ample support.
The coral color on this Panache Tango Balconette Bra ($53) is vibrant, and the bra goes up to a K cup size. The demi-cup keeps the bra sexy, but it still provides plenty of coverage –which eliminates that pesky double boob spillage.
The scalloped edges and sheer lace cups on this bra look rich, but this Freya Rio Balcony Bra ($54) is very affordable. This bra, which goes up to double G cup size, also has thick elastic straps that won’t dig into your arms.
A minimizer is a must for bustier girls, but they don’t have to look like your grandmother’s bra. This Wacoal Elegance Hidden Underwire Minimizer Bra ($62) has a pretty blush color and beige lace that give the bra a dainty and feminine feel. The bra goes up to triple D cup, and it will make wearing those button-up shirts easier.
This Chantelle Invisible Convertible T-Shirt Bra ($72) will work under all garments. The smooth cup gives a nice line under tops, and the nude color makes it very wearable.
You can’t go wrong with a black lace bra, and this Freya Jolie Plunge Underwire Bra ($60) will work well for those deep necklines.
