My hairdresser gave me the best summer beauty tip for saving my hair from the sun’s harmful rays. We know it is SO important to protect our skin, but I had never really thought about needing to protect my hair!

To help keep your hair from drying out while being out in the sun, and also to help save your color-treated hair from fading, apply a leave-in conditioner to your hair before heading outdoors. If u do not have a leave-in conditioner, wetting the hair and combing through regular conditioner will work as well.

my favorite summer beauty tip would be…WATER!! Whether you’re in it ot drinking it..it’s a MUST-HAVE!!! I use a spritz bottle, filled with cold H2O & a slice of lemon to “spritz” my hair with, when out in the sun..leaves my hair with ‘sun-streaked” hi-lites…& I ALWAYS wear sun-screen..no matter how rushed I may be..adding a few drops of baby oil / peppermint ‘cools’ my skin & moisturizes..all & the same time!!! :)
