Katy Perry And Christina Aguilera Bring The MTV Awards Red Carpet Fashion To a New Low

Sometime in the last decade the MTV Movie Awards Red Carpet has become a trashy, fashion free-for-all (I blame Lil’ Kim and her sequined pasties.) Now, it’s the one red carpet day a year when entertainers fire their stylists and wear the cheesiest, skimpiest, sleaziest mini dresses money can by. Add a blue wig and you get this year’s fashion.

Katy Perry’s took her normally wacky wardrobe to a new level with a bright blue wig and a basically see-through mini-dress (save for some conveniently placed beading). Christina Aguilera’s approach was more Old West hooker meets Can-Can dancer – which is just as bad as it sound.

In the category of “girls who forgot the bottom half of their outfit”… Julianne Hough (who?), Stephanie Pratt, Whitney Port and Kristen Stewart all chose to go miniscule. It doesn’t help that three out of four look like they had a peroxide and self tanner accident.
