We’re not sure she knows the meaning of the word, because Lady Gaga recently inquired about an internship with famed hat designer Philip Treacy, the company’s rep confirmed to People. We love Treacy, who’s best known for creating Lady Gaga’s lightning look (above left) and Sarah Jessica Parker‘s green butterfly-thing (above right), but we’re still perplexed at the report. Guess we shouldn’t be surprised by anything Gaga does anymore. If you’re in the market for a great summer hat, but not Gaga’s kind, check out some of our must-haves:
Need a festive hat for Memorial Day, 4th of July and everything in between? Show your pride, and quirky fashion sense, with Forever 21’s Patriotic Floppy Hat ($9.80).
You can never go wrong with a classic straw hat – we love the color and laid back style of this Topshop Plain Straw Trilby Hat ($36).
Get on board with the nautical theme with this Gap Nautical floppy hat ($24.50). We love the shape and stripes of this oversize floppy style.
Why buy one hat when you can get two? Try this reversible Carlos Falchi & mark Rio Collection Getaway Beach Hat ($16). The style is classic and the price is right.
