LOFT Employees Prove Their New Cargo Pants Aren’t Just For Skinny Models

When LOFT posted images of a skinny model wearing LOFT silk cargo pants (above) last week on their Facebook page, an upset fan commented “What are you thinking, LOFT? Sure, they look great if you’re 5’10″ and a stick like the model.”  The company quickly responded with a genius idea: feature real women, LOFT employees, wearing the universally flattering pants. See below:

Although cargo pants like the J. Brand Houlihans are a major trend right now, wearing them can be tricky. Pockets on cargo pants can easily add unwanted volume to your thighs, and the cropped length can make your legs appear shorter. LOFT solved that problem with these LOFT Silk Cargo Pants ($98) that you can buy now:

The LOFT Silk Cargo Pants ($98), also available in black and from sizes 00 to 18, are refined enough to wear to work and casual enough to wear on the weekends. Are you getting a pair?

This is the perfect example of stores needing to use “regular joes (or josephines) in their advertisements. In every fashion advertisement, you see super skinny models who don’t look like regular people. The Loft khakis are awesome because women of all ages and sizes can rock them on a daily basis.
