News: Online Retailers Want You To Get Married–Or Just Wear White
Seems like saying “I do” is the trend du jour for online retailers who continue to announce expansions into the bridal scene. According to WWD, Gilt will team up with Martha Stewart Weddings and sell wares to bridal parties with a sample sale starting March 12–see the sneak peek photos above, and lasting until Sunday evening, a first for the company. If you fancy yourself more of a hipster, Urban Outfitters announced a new bridal line with Anthropologie to start selling on a separate site, and for the fashion forward, money-is-no-option set, Net-a-Porter’s weddings category launched in late February, but seems to just be a collection of overpriced white tops, dresses, and pants. Luckily for everyone, white is a huge trend for spring. Here are three white dresses you don’t need to say “I do” for.
