SheFinds Has Your (Digital) Ticket To Fashion Week

Ever wanted to attend Fashion Week? Were you prepared to grovel, steal, lie, cheat, or somehow crash your way into the tents and then weasel your way to the front row? Of course not. But now you don’t have to (although you may still have those urges) because the runway is coming to you, thanks to technological advances and the rise of the fashion blogosphere.

Pioneers started to embrace “live streaming” during 2009 Fall Fashion Weeks (Emporio Armani at Milan, Burberry and Twenty8Twelve in London, and Michael Kors in New York), but the practice is now picking up steam.

Across the pond, London Fashion Week has its very own dedicated Digital Schedule to launch on February 19th that will include live fashion shows and short films made by some of the designers. We’re looking forward to the films by Sienna Miller and her sister Savannah for Twenty8Twelve, as well as Hussein Chalayan.

You can also look forward to Marc Jacobs streaming his Fall 2010 show live on his website next Monday, February 15 at 8 pm. RSVP to his live stream and get a chance to actually win two tickets to go to the show in person.
