Target Signs On Under-The-Radar Tucker For Summer Collaboration

In a surprising move, Target will feature an up-and-coming New York designer, Tucker by Gaby Basora, in one of its next Go International collaborations. We’ve already seen Rodarte, a non-mass appeal brand do really well, so we’re rooting for her. [Fashionista]

Gaby Basora, a New York designer, is known for her silk blouses made of exotic patterns and rich, vibrant colors (as seen above in the photos from the Resort 2009 Collection). The Tucker for Target line is expected to include at least one of her signature blouses, rompers, and swimwear. If her Target line is even half as cute as the looks above, we’re in.
