Today’s Crazy News: Versace Auctions Its Internship for Thousands, Chanel Tattoos, More

versace models

How much would you pay to “win” an internship at Versace? The fashion house is auctioning a 5-month log internship, and at the moment, the bid is up to $3,500. (We’d love to know who’s doing the bidding.) As Fashion Week Daily points out, the price is about the same as actually buying a Versace dress. Sounds like an equation we’d do for Fashion Math or Which Would You Rather. Do you think it’s worth it to pay thousands to work for free, even if it will beef up your fashion resume?  And would you rather have a Versace dress, or an internship? [Fashion Week Daily]

Chanel announced its line of tattoos made to look like their signature jewelry. Even though the actual Chanel jewelry is a lot less money than the tattoos ($49 for a set of 55), we don’t know that we actually want a faux tattoo of a logo necklace on our necks. We have a feeling they’ll sell out in no time though–just like Chanel Jade nail polish. [Elle UK]

Hair fragrance is becoming a trend in the beauty industry, apparently. Would you buy a separate fragrance for your head? Try our guides to the best fragrances for each season so you’ll be well-stocked when spring rolls around.  [New York Times]
